Founded in 1842, the company maintains the good old Hamburg merchant tradition. Known in the early years for importing high-quality products from far and near countries, Schlesinger has since stood for high quality standards, elegant design and reliability.

In 2009, the grandson of an East Prussian sawmill owner took over the brand, returning to the family roots.

High quality materials - The shoe trees are made from untreated North American cedar. The fast growing "Red Cedar" is exclusively cut as thinning wood and is ecologically absolutely harmless.

Its essential oils provide pleasant natural fragrance in the shoe and its wood optimally absorbs moisture. The result: dry and smooth leather - the shoe is cared for from the inside.
